ricardo acosta

Born in 1986 in Punto Fijo, Venezuela, his life—and his art—found its home in Portugal. From an early age, he discovered in drawing an intimate territory, a place where imagination breathes and curiosity flourishes. For him, drawing is not a mystical gift, but a cultivated fascination: a practice that refines itself over time, between passion, discipline, and discovery.

An architect trained at the School of Architecture of the University of Minho (PT), where he completed his Master's degree in 2013, he has always seen in art and construction two sides of the same restlessness: to understand, transform, and communicate what surrounds him. For him, drawing is both meditation and a tool—a way of thinking with his hands, of organizing the world through lines, shadows, and intentions.

In 2017, he shaped another part of this creative impulse by founding, with two friends, LIMIT atudio. There, he continues building — houses, ideas, spaces, and possibilities.
